Noteable Artists Worth Sharing

Girl When Combing, By Pierre-Auguste Renoir print

Girl When Combing, is a work of the famous artist, Pierre-Auguste Renoir. Drawn around 1894 Using Oil On Canvas Technique the original is located now at Metropolitan Museum Of Art.  I’d like to visit there someday (a Bucket List  Item!).  However, a smaller affordable print is available through the Bridgeman Gallery!  I believe 24 x 16 is the largest that can be ordered.

Two Cats

Franz Marc

Franz Marc’s Two Cats (sketch) is located at the Staatliche Graphische Sammlung, Munich, Germany.  My friend’s daughter is studying in Berlin.  I wonder how far she is from that museum?  Franz Marc was an English artist.  This too, is available on affordable stretched canvas through the Bridgeman Gallery.

These are just a few pieces I ran across after my shoulder operation that I personally liked.  On a day like today, when the temperatures are in the single digits and the wind chill is below zero, I prefer to browse the galleries and day dream!   Hope you do too!
